After yesterday's experience with broken chalices I slept suprisingly well and full of energy I decided to post the three pressed vases just to show similarities and differences and difficulties with attribution.Maybe the pressed glass isn't worth too much attention ( in this case) - just small thing.
At the first sight they look alike but they differ in details.The clear vase has a round sexpartite foot and an ornament reminding cut glass.Made of medium thick glass is very well worked out.It definitely comes f
rom Polish Zabkowice glassworks and is documented in catalogues.
The green one has merely visible decoration,it looks like squeezed,the foot has three lines from a mould although the bowl is six-piece with a thicker "collar".Generally it seems to be made roughly. This one is very frequent in Poland and it's commonly attributed to Rosice but I couldn't find this model in available Rosice documentation.
The topaz vase is exactly the same as sklo's vase.I've seen it on Polish bid sites just one time and I've bought it.I did it because this model is documented in Polish pre war Niemen glasswork catalogue and, to be more interesting, it is described as an original pattented production.
I have mixed feelings about it but I couldn't compare the item with another so sometimes I think it's Polish Art Deco and sometimes that it is Czech vase from 50/60s.

I have no issue with "simple" pressed glass when it looks this good.

Very interesting, Ivonne. I too think that your topaz vase looks to be the same as my blue one.
Marcus Newhall's book on Sklo Union included a disc with company catalogue pages, My blue shape appeared in the catalogue of two of the Czech Sklo Union companies. And as you say long after The Art Deco period..... but if it's selling why not keep on making it.
To muddy the waters further the British companies, Bagley and Davidson made this shape in the thirties, but decorated with chevrons.

My vase is 19 cm.Bagley's vase you mentioned is occasionally available in here.
I know that Niemen glassworks made several shapes of Bagley &Davidson.Some time ago I engaged in a debate with a blogger collecting Niemen glass who didn't want to take a note of that fact.My link to B&D was deleted but in a private mail he said sorry and explained that he did it of patriotism.Can you imagine such a collector?
I can't imagine it being done on the grounds of patriotism. I do know however that it is done here by some, if the comment disagrees with the views expressed in their post.
