Bowl adzes are used for hollowing out - what else? - bowls. And seats on Windsor chairs. Basically it's a big gouge. The handle is gripped right at its head and worked with as much wrist action as arm motion. The curved edge is sharpened only on the inside. This is a fairly big one: 5 inches across the tips and 2 lbs 5 oz. of iron with a steel edge.
UncleRon, what is that you are holding in your profile pic ? I thought it was an armalite at 1st.
Thought it was a DSR-50 Sniper Rifle Liquid cool ....lol
Conjo !! A friend in CO has a Barrett .50. Any secret sources for cases & projectiles you would share with him ? He only used it for squirrel hunting. LOL !!
It's a Arcturan Model dIV klystron pulse rifle. It has atmospheric-diffusion compensation and the optional ionizer. Nearly unlimited range on a clear day. Basically, if I can see it, I can kill it (up to about 1000Kg bio-mass). They're illegal across half of this quadrant because of the neural damage that can occur if the charge isn't optimized.
love it, Where can I sign up to get one ...
I know a Gorn on Scapulonis 12 that can get you one but it's prices are rather steep. And it only takes payment in gold or virgins.
