Good Evening CW Members----10:00 PM)2016-5-25
I have this Bowl in my radar for quite a while(from Netherland), an suddenly the listing disappear for few month and recently this reappear on the auction site, i am very happy to see is back and even better BUY IT NOW, at very good price, good timing again.
Described by the seller as Welz, but i am not really sure this Bowl is Welz, i explain to you why, when i start collecting Bohemian Art Glass little more than a year ago, i am able to acquire a very nice Kralik with a very unique shape and a very rare decor, this Bowl look alike.
One of our well know CW member "kralik1928" commented on my post this vase 10 months ago, here is the comment of kralik1928;
I can only add that this pattern is found most commonly in purple, this green version is rare then comes gun metal gray (on black base) and the rarest so far is gold. The pattern comes in only flashed iridescent finish (Iris decor). Your piece has all that I look for: Clarity in pattern, Bright flecks of secondary color, good contrast between the base colour and powder decor and great mirror like finish- Great piece: )
I was very thrill with this comment and willing to learn as much has I can, i make quite a progression since then.
Now regarding the description from the seller as Welz attribution for this Bowl, I am not sure about it, and today I receive it ,i am able with the 2 piece in my hand to compare the decor and i have to say, the bowl decor have very close similarity with my vase, even this Bowl have no marking on it and my Vase have the Kralik half circular mark, i am convince this Bowl was make by the same Glass House"Kralik".
The bowl have twelve side (dodecagon), light multicolour spatter glass with green scale decor, gold iridescent inner layer with polished pontil.
Picture 1-2-and 3 show my new Bowl in all is beauty.
Picture 4 show both piece beside each other.
I WILL LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU, ALWAYS AND EVER WANT TO LEARN AND KNOW YOUR OPINIONS, :-D
This Bowl stand 4 inch tall, 7 inch wide, on a 3.75 inch at the base.
Thanks For viewing.
Alan

The soft blurring of the colors reminds me of certain Manet and Monet paintings.
Alan- I love your shapes and decors. for some reason I have an affinity for pontil kralik pieces. Any theories to why the same decor exists with two different production methods? I think now you are hooked!
kralik1928, I am more than happy you able to see it and comment.
So you think this is a different hutte make this one, you not sure this is the same as my Kralik vase on picture 4
