This beauty measures 16 inches on the longest point and 9.5 inches in width. It has no label but "called" out to me when I saw it on the shelf. I'm pretty sure that it looks like Vincenzo Nason Murano Glass w/Copper Inclusions "Avventurina" but I'd like some opinions please.
It's possible that is is a Nason. The thing that interests me is the outer liner being all black and in such an unusual shape. I haven't seen Nason like that. If it is a Nason, I think is would be a high line piece, low production. Very cool.
I found another one, pastel colors, listed on eBay in a search but cannot bring up the page.
MURANO ART GLASS ASHTRAY SHELL SHAPE PASTEL BROWN TONE LAYERED
Nice Bowl !!
~ I am undecided on this as I have seen something like this shape and with the label on them of something like " Darte Cristalleria" ( Italy ) art glass, I believe. So I am not sure.
The Aventurine looks like Nason done -- but I just do not know
Thank you to all!
