This website has a quite big influence on my browsing habits: now I look out for an interesting vintage jewellery items too. I don't know much about jewellery so I would appreciate your thoughts about this bracelet. I bought it on ebay. Has no hallmarks, only stamped with a number 835. I read somewhere this stamp was used in countries like Netherland, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Portugal in the late 19th and early 20th century. I always liked this kind of delicate panel bracelets, so I was quite pleased when it arrived. The clasp is still in good working order, but the safety chain is missing. I heard there are so many fake antique or vintage jewellery on ebay, mainly produced in China. My question is this a real antique (or vintage) bracelet or just some modern product.
Hi martika, I think this lovely filigree bracelet is from Portugal. One name that stands out is Topazio, which is filigree work. I hope that help.
Thank you Peasejean55 and Nevada!!! Please can you tell the age?

Has you can see your bracelet as a tongue and groove catch, I would hazard a guess of the 1960s.
I hope the link above helps, good luck with your research.
Thank you for your help :)))
It's really lovely Martika and looks even better on.

Very pretty. Jewelry is at least something you can wear, right?!? lol... As for fakes, purchase with paypal. I do believe it to be the safest so far.
Ravishing bracelet!
Filigree looks like delicate lace :-)
Shareurpassion and Kyra - I'm pleased you like it, girls :)))
