This is another caddy spoon by Amy Sandheim. The art and craft movement including Sybil Dunlop, Bernard Instone, Amy Sandheim and many others, not only made jewellery, but make many other things including caddy spoons. This is a lovely one by Amy Sandheim, it's long and elegant, with the top looking like a upside down candle stick. On the top is a letter C I have no idea what this means, it could be the original owners initial. Working down to the centre, the handle is attached to the bowl with two decorative shoulders. The bowl is long and narrow with a hammered finish. On the back is hallmarks which I don't know, and A/S for Amy Sandheim.
Many thanks for looking
beautiful!!
Thank you very much SEAN, it is a beauty :-)
I love the hammered bowl! (FYI - She spells her name Sibyl Dunlop, though.)
Hi Celiene, this caddy spoon is Amy Sandheim, the maker mark is A/S. They are from the same time period.
The shape of the caddy spoon relates to early spoon forms I think. I would suggest the Seal Top Spoon form and the related Apostle spoon. The supports are quite distinctive. I've not seen anything like them.

Thank you vetraio, I've looked at your link, it has been extremely helpful. I think the seal top is very similar to this spoon. I think this one was probably made either in the 1920s-30s, so the dates don't line up with the early seal top spoons. I'll try and research more into this, I think you are on the right track. :-)
The C on the seal top would have been the initial of an original owner.
Was Amy Sandheim working as late as 1938? I think that 'c' is for that year.

Hi vetraio, thanks so very much for solving this posting. I thinks you are correct with the date of this spoon. This posting is now solved

Hi Jewels1900 thanks for your precious time, an I'm assuming the baby is a new addition to the family, if so congratulations.
Thanks Jean. We now have Ari who is 7 weeks old today. He keeps me busy!
I bet he does, I love little babies, it's when they start walking or the terrible 2s they become troublesome lol.
