It's very seldom that you come across these type of Bernard Instone earrings. They are very pretty with shepherd hooks attached to a stud earring, which is attached to a drop. At the top of the drop is a surround of silver leaves, typical Instone. The stone is pink stained agate, they look lovely with light coming though the stone. Probably made in the 1930s or maybe earlier. They are unfortunately not marked, but definitely Bernard Instone.

Thank you antiquerose, it's a interesting question. I'm posting another pair of long drop earrings of Bernard Instone. I suppose for me it's the silver work, usually leaf, flowers and berries, also the structure of the back. He uses a lot of Amethyst, agates, and Citrine stones. Sometimes I'm not always right, I'm pretty good with his earlier work, but when his sons took over the business, the style completely changed.
