I think this pendant is Austro - Hungarian, but I would like someone to verify this. Why I personally think this is Austro - Hungarian is because of the back. It is silver not marked, with what I think is a green agate in the middle with a cable surround in a gold colour. There are 3 small red garnets in bezels, in the pendant, then three large pear shaped drop garnets suppended from the pendant.
If it is Austro - Hungarian it would mean that this pendant was made before 1918, when the Austro - Hungarian Empire was disbanded after the First World War.
    Many thanks for looking

      Lovely!
Is it a hallmark just under the top ring in pic 2? It has the shape of the French boar's head for silver :-)

Hi Kyra, I see what you mean, I'm just soaking the pendant in soapy water. I'll get back to you. :-)

Wooohhh... Dangerous to soak foiled stones in soapy water! Hope it won't damage the foil :-/

My goodness I thought they were Garnets, oops panic, had a look everything looks ok. I'm still trying to work out if there is a mark. There are some primitive etched numbers on the the middle panel 5307 which I think could be a auction number. I'm adding a new photo of the back.

By the way kyra, thanks so much for your help.

      Foil doesn't mean they aren't garnets :-)
Just to add brightness and hue.
Glad there is no damage :-)
Those faint hand etched numbers were usually done by a jeweller when he did repairs.

Still can't see if it is a hallmark, try to brush the mark with a broken match or wood toothpick, it won't mark the silver.

I've tried, with tooth brush and tooth pick. Looking at the mark your referring to it doesn't have any mark in the hole.
