I found this pendant in the bargain section of a store. I looks handmade and is only marked 925. I think the speckled cabochon is some kind of clay, ceramic, or something else. I don't think it is a natural stone.

Looks like Leopard Agate to me.
You are correct. But it feels too light to be a stone. I was thinking of scratching the back but I am not sure what to look for or expect - LOL

It is lighter than other necklaces I have. Either my definition of "lighter" is wrong or the stone is not a stone LOL. (It could be an imitation)
