I love cobalt blue and gold pieces of porcelain. Nippon did a lot of work in this fashion but I have not seen to much Czech. in this style. The vases are 9" tall and are in great shape. Very nice looking, at least I think so.

It is Pirkemhammer – Bohemia. They joined EPIAG after WW I. Very famous porcelain – one of the oldest in Bohemia, known under different names (Fischer und Mieg than Cristian Fischer – CF).

Hello Ivan49......Thanks much for this information. I have had them for years, and had no clue of their history. Do you know where I can see other pieces this company made? And thank you again......Mark

Unfortunately, I was not interested in their later production. I have only Biedermeier porcelain made between 1824 and 1852 by Christian Fischer (CF pressed mark). When you visit flea markets look for any hand painted porcelain -sellers do not know much about that under glaze CF mark; I bought one cup and saucer in Portobello, London but they are clever; I used the magnifying glass and he said; `` I do not know what it is but you seem to know``. So I paid 50 pounds for it. If you Google for Pirkenhammer you will find both what they made and the marks.

Hello Ivan.......... Thanks for your wealth of knowledge. Sounds like you collect some wonderful porcelain. Can you give me an idea of how to price these pieces?

      Thanks again................Mark
