Today's find is courtesy of a shop in Annapolis, MD. Original circa 1920s lamp with shade by Durand Art Glass. The shade is 10" long and is in ribbed white opal glass lined with a layer of pink rose colored glass. The shade in vase form (shape 20120) and the base of the lamp are both documented in "Durand, The Man and His Glass", by Edward J. Meschi. This is my new favorite reading lamp - the reddish light is bright enough to read by, but muted enough not to disturb anyone else in the room. :)
hi I just purchased this lamp from 1920s. can you tell me anything about it?
