We got this cute Skelly sign from a friend in Joplin Mo a couple of years ago and it has managed to fall off the pole twice so far. Today we re-hung it, but this time it's in a steel frame! Hopefully this will get us through the frequent Summer windstorms and micro bursts. I love the Skelly signs! The Bay sign is the first big pole sign we ever purchased for the aaaLakeside Storage Collection and it came from a collector in Salt Lake who got it from a Collector in Evanston Wy. Signs make the circles these days!
Skelly ? what area did they cover ?

I have no idea as they never made it out to Utah that I am aware of? I see lots of Skelly stuff in the Midwest and East but not out West unless a Collector brings it. We have two of them and this we got in Joplin and the other came from Tulsa Ok. I think I googled it a couple of yrs ago but, like with most things these days, can't remember what my search taught me!!!!! Old age isn't graceful at all!!!
On the "graceful --", no proof of it by me ! Narrowed down to an area between MA & Baja and FL & WA. I can live with that !

I know where a Bay sign is still in front of the station:) I finally caught the owner there and he told me it wasn't hurting anything and it don't cost anything to feed it LOL!!!

Don't u hate it when that happens? I love the Bay sign and ours is the first big sign we bought & we thought we paid too much until we learned how hard they are to find and how expensive they can really get.
It's very frustrating!! I know where the sister sign is too :) The SPEED sign in front of the station too and won't sell:(
Trey often it just has to do with patience and continually contacting the owner until the "right moment" arrives. Good luck!
