    Hello,

I found this at a resale shop yesterday. The round area on the bottom appears to be concrete. The bowl is a very think porcelain or china? The designs on the bowl have some raised painting. It is the white lines on the flowers.

YOWZA - that's a stunner! Post in the porcelain category, too - it is not glass. Those are thistles. Possibly Scottish? The whole thing appears hand painted, and is GORGEOUS!

Thank you, I love it too. I though it was a planter because of the concrete on the bottom, but it is very thin and delicate!

How did you decide Asian? Put it in the porcelain category - see what other people think. My gut says - somewhere in that beautiful design is a signature hiding.

What is the foot covered in?

      Hello Celiene,
The foot is covered in the same porcelain as the top. I looked in the design and couldn't find any signature. If you don't mind me asking, where is the porcelain category, I couldn't find it so I put this in China.

I'm intrigued by the hole in the bottom, and then it sits right on top of the base (well it would do that anyway, if you know what I mean). There's two of these, right? I mean not really two items, but two posts about the same item.
I have to go, the heat has frazzled by brain.

Yes, I was trying to repost in porcelain, but, I couldn't find it. There isn't a hole in the bottom it is filled with concrete.

The categories here are so weird. I think it may be in visual arts at the bottom? Put it in Art Pottery, sub category Studio Art Pottery.
