I've noticed after collecting this specific tan spatter glass for awhile, that there are many Sub Groups within it. A wide variety that may include different makers and different time periods. Some group by colors (like the sea foam green), also by shape of those colors: large oil spots, elongated or more striped spots, overall color (dark or light). Some have applied black handles or bases. Some have applied amber colored bases or handles or knobs. Some knobs are clear amber; some match the spatter. Some have the Czechoslovakia mark at the bottom. Some have a more finished rim. There are many little subgroups, and I've posted other different groups in the past. I'll continue with some more photos....
EZa, can you describe the Czechoslovakia mark....is it a round (circular) Mark or a linear..or a semi- circular Mark. I have a pink satin spatter vase with a red inner layer that has the long elongated spatters like the one in your first photo. Love your collection. Bob
Hi Bob! Thank You. Yes, the mark is a semi-circular "smile". There is a picture of the mark in one of my posts -the post with the tall apothecary included. Not all pieces have the mark. Some may have worn off. Some perhaps made by different makers and perhaps different time periods never required a mark. ? Have a great weekend! Erica
