You find nothing under George Dickel ?

I found out that its technically a flask, not a bottle. I know as a flask it isn't worth much, BUT the cascade label makes it interesting... I still can't fund anything else about it.. I even emailed the company but I guess they have better things to do.....

Cascade was a famous brand of sour mash whiskey made by the George Dickel distillery beginning in the late 19th-century. I've never seen a flask-style bottle and it's hard to estimate the age without seeing better photos. Is there a front label? Are there any markings in the glass (either on the shoulder or on the base)? If bottled between 1935-1964 it would have the statement "federal law forbids sale or re-use of this bottle" embossed in the glass. If it doesn't carry that statement then the bottle would be earlier, possibly pre-prohibition (pre-1920). Cheers, -Eric ewitz@comcast.net
