Hello everyone.
Thought I would post this brooch on the off chance that someone may have some information about it.
I think it is unmarked silver which is really really textured! Glass? eyes, measures roughly 1" x 1".......and sort of 3D is the best way I can describe it.
Has an old pin....so victorian or edwardian? Weight is 9.58gm.
Not much else to tell......and any thoughts at all would be appreciated thank you.

Cute! This brooch is marked, though. I can see a stamp on the reverse side, near the bottom, third photo. Rectangle shape. Too out-0f-focus in the photo to be able to read it.
Edwardian in date.

Thanks efesgirl, have just cleaned the back and that rectangle has disappeared. ...but I have found what looks like a mark so will post it as well. Also has some jewellers numbers scratched on as well.....give me a few minutes
As you can see it has lots of scratches and marks all over!!

OK.....have been outside with the Westie......nothing to report!! was practically standing on my head to try and find anything else to identify this brooch.....I think it might remain a mystery, however at least we know now it is Edwardian and it is a Westie dog face..... thank you everyone.....

The texture circles on you Westie have more "facets" than those on the poodle, and they are set much more closely but it's the same idea, imho.
