This wooden puzzle has 30 pieces. The box deteriorated but the box cover art remains (with condition issues). An internet search reveals that the puzzle is likely from 1890. That makes sense, in that the map depicts Oklahoma as Indian Territory. Oklahoma and Indian Territory voted to become one state in 1907. The map illustration on the box lid doesn't match the map on the puzzle pieces. At first, I thought this meant the box was not the correct one for the puzzle, but an internet search shows the same box with this puzzle in repeated postings. Does anyone have an explanation for that? Thanks!
