    These a 4 pictures of the same chair. This chair is from a Connecticut house built in 1756. Trying to figure out era and style. Thanks for your help.

      If you do a search on Google for 18th Century spindle back chairs, you will see that the overall construction of those chairs is different: straight legs and stretcher bars are found on most 18th century chairs.
