I don't have too much information on this. It appears to be an awarded presented to employees of a Coca-Cola bottling plant for hitting a milestone of number of Coke bottles produced in a single year.
The plague on the award reads:
"Presented to the employees of Hamilton Plant on achievement of the milestone of 200 per capita during 1983."
Does anyone have any information on this?
Thanks!
Yes, it is most likely from a bottling plant in Hamilton, Ontario, as the cap says the bottle was made in Toronto, Ontario. The only other one I have found was on eBay, and it was for the plant in London, Ontario, in the same year-1983. Perhaps it was a promotion among Ontario bottling plants in 1983?
I found it at a flea market in Nova Scotia--a fair way from Hamilton, ON.
Is the 1983 around the neck a sticker or label or is it actualy printed on the glass?
Printed on the glass.
