Wooden Smoking Dog Pipe

Just picked up this really cool hand carved wood dog pipe. On one side the marking is a oval with "VPK" stamped inside and the other side has at least two words possibly the makers name. Unfortunately I can't read it all I can make out is the first word starts with "M" and the second word starts with "C" and ends with "ia". I would love to know age where it's from and the maker is anyone has a clue.
