This is hanging in the Adirondack Museum and I'd never seen one like it. It has two wicks that stick horizontally out the sides with an oil chamber in between. Does anyone know what these are called?

Hi and Welcome!!
Nice item! Can you post some more pics of it -- as you can post up to 4 images in each post -- AND WE LOVE LOTS OF PHOTOS HERE!!
Its called an Angle oil lamp. I don't have any more pics. Next time I submit, I will post lots. I have to find one and buy it. Really cool!
Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I've just foind this site today. What a find!
Hi. I'm glad to have found this post. I have two of these lamps. They were in a home we recently purchased (along with many other antique fixtures). I would like to find out their value, but I really don't know how. At least knowing what they are is a start now. Any advice or input on how to go about researching values would be greatly appreciated. Oh, mine have been electrified. The other fixtures that were in the house include cranberry hobnail oil chandeliers, a very large brass oil chandelier and multiple hand painted Victorian style oil chandeliers...all of which have been electrified. Thanks and blessings!
