My boyfriend bought this for me 2 weeks ago for my birthday. The only information i have on it is that, it came from a guy off craigslist that had a whole house full of sweet stuff! And the information that came with it. I've done hours of research...... which lead me to this site. Is this a victrola.. victor... a knock off from after RCA buying them? I've tried to find a serial number but I just keep finding a bunch of numbers that won't pull any information up. I have no knowledge of these things (just that their awesome) What is this thing??? Any info would be very appreciated!!!

Is it rare/common? Were these ones known to not have a serial Plate or engraving? I read the basics out of the books that came with it but wasn't able to find anything else like rarity, interesting facts, history or anything like that

Brochures would not mention the history or rarity of this item. You have to thoroughly examine it to see if there is a a serial number plate on it. Not everything has one.

Now that you know what it is, I suggest you sign up as a member of the Radio Museum and use their website to help with your research.
