    Hi, I bought this chair to go in the corner of my bedroom from an antique shop in Leicestershire, England.
    As you can see from the photo it's quite low and the back of the chair is very narrow. It's quite heavily carved .
    I would like to know some history about it. What it's called, what it was used for, the era it came from and maybe the value it might be worth!!

      I've found out what it is!!! It's an old turn of the century Spinning Wheel Chair!!!

      I'm glad you found the correct type/name of chair. It had to be made for something other than just sitting at a table.
