Fabulous celluloid brooch

I have not much to show for lately...so I thoug I could share this brooch.
i found it a while ago in a thriftshop, I think I payed maybe 2€ for it.
Its a big one, almost 6 cm diameter. I think it dates from the fifties or sixties.
It depicts some leaves in a whrath(or how do you call those things )?with painted dots on them. I never saw a brooch like this, so to me its very interesting. The details of the leaves are very fine. This tells me it has some age to it.
So what do you think about it?special or just a plain common piece?
