Vintage 1960's ? Montgomery Ward Guitar in the Box

I just bought this vintage Montgomery Ward guitar still in the box! I was wondering if someone could shed some light on what company made it and possibly a model name or number. The only writing is on the back that says "Made in Japan". It cleaned up well and I have to put a 2 strings on it. I have searched all day and have found almost no information on what Japanese company would have made it. Help!
