I am pretty much in LOVE with Bohemian Art Glass, but still in the hunt for any good piece of Italian Glass to,,,,this week in my travel to the Salvation Army i found this very nice Ashtray/Bowl, made by Murano, this shape and colours are very common, beautiful top Cranberry colour with inner layer silver flakes inclusion and clear glass, in pristine condition and at the Salvation price, what else I could ask for.....:-D
No label or mark of any kind, no doubt in my mind this piece is MURANO.
This little Ashtray/Bowl stand 2.25 inch tall, 5 inch wide, on a 1 inch base.

What a gorgeous hunk of glass, Alan!! I see different colors in here, the center is a sort of melon orange tipped with chili pepper red set in a bowl of shimmering ice. This to me is the true Murano. You did well, my friend. :)

For sure some colour from the middle are Orange and the shape is truth Murano.
Kurt, yes these type of inclusions, bullicante, gold dust and flaked always cut my eyes when I see it, very hard to resisted.
