I've got the vase for a while and can't decide if it is Bohemian.I'm still not experienced enough.
The vase is 27 cm tall.made of thick glass - I think 4 layers : yellow inner, coverd with white (rather thin ) what gives a yellowish shade, then blue and from yellow to red spatter and finally clear outer layer.
The work is crowned with a green ribbon with a motif of a leaf.In the centre must have been another ornament, probably a flower.
It reminds contemporary Chinese vases with ruffled top and tied up with a flower, also it is a bit like Roubickova's vases but the spatter looks at least from 50's.It comes from an attic in an old house.
I can see where the Chinese association is coming from Ivonne with the colours and the green ribbon, but I don't think it is.
I have not seen them use a shape like that the narrowed section in the belly.
The spatter is fantastic!
I particularly like the way the yellow inner sets it off. The rim looks to be well done too, which may go against the Chinese idea.
Thanks Karen and Peggy for your comments.I don't think it's Chinese either although it's got some similarities.
Thanks for the loves too.

Hi there -- Can you post a base pic for us?? Thanks
Hi,Rose.I tried to take a photo of a base but I failed.I can see details but they aren't visible in a pic. There isn't any contrast between a white ground and a clear coating. There's a matt concave polished pontil in the bottom .
Maybe I'll try tomorrow again.
Thanks for the loves Rose, mikelv and SEAN :)
Thanks,Windwalker for the love :)
Reading your base description it does sound Chinese Ivonne.
Don't forget they have been exporting glass since the 1920s, and in volume since the 1950s so it could still have good age to it.
Well,Karen,I've taken a pic of the bottom...The pontil is visible .It's hooped by uneven glossy transparent glass to the edge of the bottom.
THanks Holycowelsie, kyratango and kivatinitz for the loves :)
Interesting from what I can see. Thanks :)
Might be Chinese, don't want to say a definite yes however.
