I'm just curious what this WW1-era Third Liberty Loan door-hanger was for, and who had been hanging them up? Do many exist anymore?

Hung on a door to show that the person/ family supported the war effort by purchasing Liberty Bonds.

Scott, thank you very much. I was wondering if they were hung if the person wasn't home, and left by the home owner for the next day if s/hewanted the seller (like a boy scout) to drop by again to sell the bond, or something.

      Seems like it, Nevada.
