It has a green glazed 'pa' and a '21' incised. It is under 7 inches tall without the topper, which is about 2 inches tall.

I'm guessing late Victorian (1910ish), but what is it?

As a note of interest, my playing dog knocked it from a tall table. I tried catching it, was unable, and tried to have it hit my foot but missed as I watched it hit the floor and remain totally intact. Amazing.

This is just a stab in the dark because I know nothing about ceramics or pottery, but could the 'pa' be for Pennsylvania??? [;>)

I find this very interesting, because I have an identical pot, with no stopper, marked 26! I also have a Tete-a-Tete set of the same pattern. I always thought it being Continental, maybe German, made of hard paste porcelain - ie hard and shiney. I think your dates are right. I will put a post up of my set for you to compare.

I know little on them also, Nevada.

Mary Potter, it might be a child's coffee/tea pitcher indeed. Thanks for commenting.

Martika, it has great strength as it survived that tumble. LOL.

Adele, interesting. The number may be for no. 21, no. 26, etc.,as they made them. Who knows.
