Three pics of small doll with Germany tag. Doll is made out of white rope and yellow foam (body). Upper legs are of same rope from body and lower leg from shins down are white porcelain with painted on black shoes. Her arms I cannot look at as top of dress is not removable but through the sleeve I can see hands and arms are porcelain up to elbow as well with rest of arm and shoulder being rope from the body like the legs. Her head is also porcelain with dress glued at the neck. I can find no other markings except small tag coming off sleeve.clothes seem old and yellowed. Such a pretty doll. I found it in a box with other old and tattered dolls, whole box for $5 but I didn't want busted dusty dolls. Maybe I should of. Is it really an antique of worth? I am planning on giving it As a gift and would like more solid info. Thank you, meg

No she is not a antique most likely around 1980's . More of a tourist doll or for someone that collected dolls from around the world . She is dressed in German clothes and I believe that is what tag is referring to but I do not think she was made in Germany . Not a high value in today's doll market .

Thank you so much for answering. When I saw it was wrapped in yellow foam I thought maybe not as old. I still think she's pretty and if my mother in law doesn't want her I most definitely do!
