    I recently had a friend pick this up for me at a yard sale.I believe the cars are common but can't find any info on the GM Aerotrain style locomotive--https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerotrain_(GM)
    I haven't even cleaned it up yet!BTW this was purchased from a collector in Auburn Indiana!

      I had NO idea that train even existed! It's fantastic!! I wonder if there are any working models left in existence? CHECK this out - someone made one in 1/8 scale - look at it zoom!!

      I have seen several of the old style Auburn trains but I have never seen this one. It is amazing that I could not find a single photo of one on the net.
      Could it have been a prototype of a toy never made?

      Don't use too strong of a cleaner on it, the silver will wash off.
