This vase has an awesome glaze on it. Its so heavy it just flowed down and stopped short of the bottom.
The bottom looks to have a Japanese character on it. When I drew it on google translate, it said it meant heaven, sky, heavenly, or imperial. Who knows!
This may be a sake bottle or something.
It's a great piece of pottery and looks Japanese; sake might be right!
