Well, Salvation Army is my main source to find stone carving, from all the piece acquire over numerous years of collecting them, those always come from there and Yesterday is no exception when i found this beautiful stone carving piece, depicted"a Man pulling a Seal" he just probably catch the meal for is family for the day.,
God I love to found North Canadian Heritage piece like that, it's simply blow my mind, that someone get rid of this by donation, instead of contacting Government Ministry of Aboriginal Affair, and donate to them.
For sure I am happy to find it,,,,,,and sooner or later this will go to museum anyway......
The last picture show the bottom of the carving, this piece is mark with inventory number and those number are part of artist database, unfortunately I can't see it all of them.
This carving stand 2.75 inch tall, 6 inch long and 3 inch wide.
Thanks for Viewing.

rub the numbers with flour. you may see them better. Or do a pencil rubbing on paper.
Celiene, I appreciated the tip, never thought about that, I hear that before.
I will try that for sure.
Many thanks for the comment.
