Hi CW Gang:
Just bought this for a $ 2.oo here. Looks to be Raku pottery to me with the iridescent to it. It is signed on the bottom and I have been trying everything here. It kinda looks like CARACO but not sure. Also looks like there might be another letter after that or something like CARACOB or something. There is a pottery artist by the name CARACO but their work does not look similar to this at all. Any ideas? Sure, might be just a Studio piece that we will never figure out -- but one can always try....LOL
Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

That would be Karen Coraco and, no, her work doesn't look like your pot at all.
Hmmmm.... I didn't find anything else, either :-(((
Caraco....
That is what I thought too.......looks like a letter after the one that we think is last. looks like a *b* or *f* or something....??
I will post a Part II of this with another few shots of the writing -- okay got check the Sunshine out.....LOL
;-)
No matter what it is....if it looks good ...its good!
but.....you just gotta know what it is lol
Hi Rose, so many beautiful items in your collection, I love looking!
I think I figured this out -- It is CANADIAN -- CARACOL CLAY STUDIO in Alberta, Canada.

You will note in the last link ( if you let it load ) pottery pieces with blue and some things looking like Snail shell design like the one I posted here
