A classic Iwata bowl from the 1960s, showing his freeform shape and mix of white and clear with a coloured contrast on the rim.
My first Iwata was a similar bowl to this but with a yellow contrast, and that bowl still remains a favourite.
This pink is calmer and prettier and retains that sense of artist effort that comes with obviously hand made things.

Very beautiful Karen!! Looks like clouds on the edge of a red sunset !!
I think Freud would have a field day with this one. I see a jelly fish floating silently through the deep, black depths of the ocean. [;>)
Looks like the splash you get from tossing a pebble into a calm pool of water. :)
Candyfloss/fairyfloss/cotton candy.......YUMMY!

Dean - for some Iwata is the ultimate in Japanese glass; he was the first true glass artist. I'm glad you like it. Maybe you have started the paradigm shift!
Thanks Windwalker. This could fit well in your organic environment.

OGF - Iwata was the master of this freeform glass.
Oh my God, I think I'm dying. I think you've just killed me, Karen.

I gotta rest. ;)
Thanks babe! I hope you have air con there, here its pretty hot! We are having the mildest winter ever here with huge rain now after drought. The planet is literally f$&%#$.
Yes, my friend, it is. We can only hope science will save our skins, as we human beings are too self-centered and interested in our pleasure and comfort in the moment to think and act long term.
As for the weather, Palm Springs 113. Death Valley 123. A bit toasty. :P
