My grandfather recently died at the age of 98 and he is now with grandma in which were married for 71 years. They played an important part of my life and I was able to hear so many great stories from back in the days. They both grew up in South Dakota, were very poor, went through the depression, but grandpa was a stubborn determined man and both of them succeeded in life. He was a a professor of history and grams was a kindergarten teacher.
So grandma loved trinkets and I happened to find this in her dresser recently and I fell in love with it. I haven't been able to locate much on this razor. I've seen similar razors, but nothing like this one or the box. I found the manufacturer, Simmons Hardware Co. out of Missouri and I know they made razors from 1868 - 1960 but I am still at a loss as to any other info. I was hoping that maybe you all could help me.
It's 5 1/2 inches long. The above pictures show everything that I could see on the razor. There are no cracks and as far as I know it looks like it is original and never been touched.
Any information would be great. Thank you!
