I wanna show my Sherman brooch.
I don~t know how old the brooch is but it is in very good shape i think.

I would put the brooch earlier than the 60's. The mid 50's has my vote on this piece. And, he was Canadian.

Probably during the 1950's and the piece has the first sherman mark on it in the oval cartouche, so therefore earlier. Baguette stones also were used in the earlier sherman pieces. I would not date these like others here have with little knowledge of sherman.
I think pretty much no later than 1955 as the signature tells all with Sherman signature in the oval cartouche. I just picked up one very similar this week that the seller said was Sherman and with no signature. It has the same cluster of small stones in the flower and the rectangular baguette stones on the stem, but just the one longer stem with two "leaves".
I think this is called a shooting star brooch, stunning !~
