16 1/2 hight, 13 3/4 long, 6 3/8 wide. Clock was given to my grandmother for a wedding gift around 1890, in Dublin Ireland. I was told it might be a German made?
Anyone know or have seen this type of clock. It did have a glass oval dome. However, it was broken when it was shipped from Ireland. Clock runs well.

You have a very nice gilded spelter mantle clock. It is actually French, made around 1880-1890, so it was definitely close to new when your grandmother recieved it. Are there any markings on the movement? Perhaps, if you unscrew the bell, you will see a maker's mark.

Already good comment by ticktocktime100. If you open the back you will probably see the maker or only a serial number. Take care not to displace the pendulum. If you are lucky it could be gilded bronze or spelter as said. Inspect places exposed to wear; it`s either white metal (spelter) or bronze. Working condition is great to have.
