I bought these lovely divided plates at an estate auction probably 20 years ago and the owners had been elderly so I suspect they are vintage if not antique. They have three divided sections, one that takes up nearly half the plate, and two equal divided sections above the lower one. There is also a little circular depression on either side of the plate in the middle.

The stamp on the back says: PAREEK with a crown on the next line then Johnson Bros, then England. Each of the plates also has a mark in gold color near the stamped information and each of the marks is different, ranging from the one in the photo, to what looks like an elongated "S" with a dot, to what resembles a stick figure chair.

I love these plates because of the flower pattern that is on them. I also love that they are unique because they are divided and I've never seen other "good" dinnerware plates that were divided into sections.

My curiosity through the years has been unsuccessful in identifying these plates and their history other than that divided plates are called "grill plates." I'd appreciate anyone solving my mystery!

Pareek is the style of the pattern, not the name of the pattern. I was searching for my pattern and found it a replacements.com.
Here is the link to the Johnson Brothers patterns with the word “Pareek” in the search, you could refine it more if you wish, or scroll through the pages.

PS Don’t look specifically at your plate but concentrate on the pattern, as a divided dish, I’m sure is harder to find. Good luck!
