I have recently been going through my dads belongings and came across a small paperback art album that was included in the San Francisco Examiner at one time. My search on the internet so far has turned up nothing.
It is a brown paperback with a thread binding. It is approximately 8-1/2 x 11 inches. The cover has in white or silver print “The Weekly Examiner Art Album” Inside there are seven reprints of paintings. It appears that there used to be 8. The prints inside all have at the bottom of each page “compliments of the San Francisco Examiner”
The prints include:
The Last Token by Gabriel Max
Christ walking on the sea by Charles Francor
A Spanish Love Song by Conrad Kiesel
Feathered Pets by (no reference)
Psyche by William Kray
All Cares Forgotten by Meyer Von Bremen
Jack and Me by Bruno Piglhein
Any idea where I can go for more information ?
How about the San Francisco Examiner? This publication has been around since 1865, so they must have archives.

I emailed the SF examiner and they weren't much help. They did respond quickly.
