Anyone familiar with these 2 statues and identify them? Help Please

Hello,

I am trying to identify these two pieces to get some information for my mother who has dementia and can't recall.

They are family heirlooms and I wanted to gather some info on who made them and where they may be from. They are approximately 14 inches tall.
Her Great grandmother was from Czechoslovakia/Germany area.

The bottom has these numbers12968 and 44 and were a wedding gift to her great grandmother. anyone out there familiar with this artist?
