I bought this for fishing over 25 years ago, and it has stood the test of time and hard knocks.
The quality surprised me, it is as good as the offerings from Wenga et al, but has no country of origin markings, just "rostfrei" on the base of the main blade. I have seen more modern ones with the same brass insert on the scales, but the quality is no longer there, sadly.
As you can see in the photos, even the saw blade has a double row of offset teeth, making it great for small sawing jobs when fishing, like removing offending overhanging branches! The scissors are sharp and tight, used these more than anything else for tying hooks, and making up pike traces (yes, they even cut through 15 lb.wire trace!).
It still has the toothpick and tweezers too, mainly because I never used them.
I gave the little "Q" a polish as it had tarnished over the years, I did this to see what it was made of, I thought it was plastic but it's brass!
15 tools in all, very handy and compact, just 3.5 inches long.
Thanks for looking, Bob.
Are you sure that CHINA isn't stamped on the main blade's tang on the thumb-nick side, also called the obverse side??? I own 3 of these knives and all of them have CHINA stamped on the main blade's tang. [;>)

There is no CHINA mark anywhere, but It does have "STAINLESS" stamped on the other side of the main blade tang, sorry I forgot to put that in the description! :-)
It surprised me too, as I have two other Chinese-made multi tool pocket knives and both are marked "China".
Thanks for the link, mine is very similar to yours, apart from the cross-head screwdriver (mine is square in cross section) and saw (mine is thicker looking with shorter teeth), the corkscrew (mine is round in cross section, with a slightly flattened outer side. Attention to detail on this one!), and mine has no lanyard ring either. Oh, different designed can opener and bottle openers too!
Thanks for the love!
Bob.
P.S.
Michael, I can post/send pics if you wish buddy!
Cheers, Bob.
My knives can't be much older than 5 years, I don't think, 10 years tops. Was your knife purchased in Europe? I'm not familiar with the laws in Europe regarding country of manufacture stamps on import items. Here in the U.S., since 1964 all imported items have been required to have the country of manufacture stamped on them. [;>)
The law in England is iffy regarding imported goods markings, except for foodstuffs.
Here is a quote regarding the law in UK:
"The nearest the law comes to prescribing rules is section 36 of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 which states ‘goods shall be deemed to have been manufactured or produced in the country in which they last underwent a treatment or process resulting in a substantial change’. However the status and effect of this provision is unclear since most of the other provisions of the Act have been repealed (including the offences for breaching section 36) and there are no decided cases on the meaning of ‘substantial’.
Here is a youtube clip of a similar knife, with someone (not my post) saying hers does not have any China markings too.

I seem to remember buying this second-hand any way, so it could be 30+ years even, though I doubt it.
Can't deny the quality though. :-)
Cheers Michael,
Bob.
Thanks for the link, Bob. Too bad she didn't think of showing the blade, particularly the tang!!!
Oh, BTW, Bob, Michael is my younger son's name. Not that it really matters, but my name is Kiyoshi [kee-yo-shee], which is Japanese for "The Pure One", a misnomer if there ever was one! No one though, not even my mother who named me, calls me Kiyoshi. Everyone in my family, including my wife and everyone in her family, calls me by my middle name, John. Everyone after college has called me "K.J.", which is how I've introduced myself to new acquaintances for the past 40-plus years. [;>)
Ah, Gomen nasai KJ-san! I saw a post with what I thought was your name on the end, many apologies again.
No offense taken..... Now, if you'd call me Sue!..... lol..... [;>)))
Just remembered, I got this knife in a fishing tackle box. I swapped a Weihrauch HW77 with Tasco sights for a large amount of tackle, box, 5/6 rods, assorted reels, etc. Everything neede3d for coarse fishing. that was in 1990, so the knife is at least 26 years old.
What a memory, eh? ;-)
Love this, I just gave mine to my grandson and now he loves it.
Thanks for sharing.
