I'm not so keen on this vases shape (I don't know if it has a name) but do love it's colours.
Another example to add to my uranium glass collection.
Could this be classed as Rubina Verde?
Strictly speaking it's colours are amber and pink, not green, though it looks it at times because of uranium
It has a draped effect surface with two seams and a polished pontil.
I know nothing about it and would love to know more if anyone can say.
Comments always welcome.
Thank you
I like its fancifully bent top.
Hi Ivonne, I like that bit too :) It's a shame the rest of it isn't so elegant..maybe I'm being a bit harsh on it.
HA!! What I like about it is its simple bottom! "Beauty is in the eyes......." [;>)
Lol, thank you NeverBlades, never a truer word said. I'm starting to like it more. As well as its colours, the drape effect pattern is great and it's always nice to see a polished pontil :)
If not for the pontil, I'd say maybe an older, off-piece of Fenton. Not sure? Nice!
I rather enjoy its irregular top, & the opalescent edge is a nice touch.
