Ring purchased, 3 Persian Rugs given, Result

I went to see a lady today about a 9ct gold buckle ring which weighed just short of 35gms, the lady asked me £200.00 for the ring. I said to the lady yes I will buy it as anyone knows rings like that don't come everyday. Well anyway her garage door was half way up and I noticed 3 carpets, I said to the lady "what you doing with those carpets do you want them? To what she replied no I am doing nothing with them they was my husband's and I don't want them do you? I went over picked one of the rugs up and noticed they were old and hand made, so I kind of lied and said I do not really want them but as the ring was cheap, I will take them to the tip for you, just Incase she was then going to ask for money when I said I did. I know it's bad but she really did not want them I believe all the carpets to be Persian and of antique/vintage age but could anyone please let me know the age and all info they know on the carpets as they are really not my kind of thing, this is the first one and the size of all 3 is large the smallest 10ft X 5ft. By the way I love the ring.
