    This was my Grandfathers, I have no further info. I really would like some information on it. The lighter is for size reference.
    My Grandfather was from an area on the French-German border.

      Exact emblem is not know to me. The symbolism could belong with the "freikorps", which were paramilitary organizations of WWI vets. who have a shadowed history of helping & hurting. Mercenaries basically.
