    Nice little wick lamp which has BR embossed on the top. I think it is British Rail. It's definitely old and the metal seems to be a relatively thick gauge.

      This is most likely a torch used for finding air leaks. Walk with it around the train and locomotive and any leaking air would put the flame out. Also used for lighting the engineer's cigar and other tasks, too!
