Hi, I found this doll at the Tucson Swap meet back in the early 90's. I feel in love with her, and only had $5.00 in my pocket and I still needed gas money to get to Sierra Vista. The man was so kind and asked me if $2.00 was enough to make it home again. He charged me $3.00 for her, I was ecstatic. I believe that her dress is machine made since the stitches look to perfect but I would need a magnifying glass to be sure. Any ideas as to when she could have been made? Her worth? She's not going any where, but I'd love to know something about her. Thank you
What is her face made out of? Her insides look to be straw.
She looks like a Mexican made doll. Made of composition or paper mache hard to tell by photo. It is not made by Indians. Does not have much resale value but if you love her display her and enjoy .
Here is one similar and stamped Mexico
