I got what I was told was an early 1900s prototype 7oz Coca-Cola bottle. It has Property of Coca Cola Bottling Co mid script on it and Design Patent Pending along the bottom and marked Omaha, Nebraska. I was wondering anyone has seen this type of bottle before and how rare it is being unopened.

Most likely it was some sort of flavor water and not Coca Cola. It is very possible someone filled it again and capped it. That is a very common practice. some people think they might get more $$ for it if it is full. Truthfully as a bottle collector, we wnat them empty. That does not add to the value. Still that is a very cool bottle. My girlfriend had a lot of Coke flavor bottles, but not that one. Hopefully someone else might have some info on it. Thanx for posting!

It is a Coca-Cola Bottling Co. bottle circa the 1920s-1950s The style is a typical art-deco style. Likely 1930s. This was a 'flavour bottle' as the Coke site would say. Coca-Cola Bottling Companies bottled many products, other flavours, in bottles that would have their name on it, but not being a bottle of Coca-Cola.

Because the site cannot expand your last three images, I can offer little more. If the cap is cork-lined, it is before the 1970s and may be original to the bottle. The drink inside does not look all that aged. I prefer to have my bottles full of their original product, but most collectors do not. Others fill up clear bottles to add colour to their displays.
