More photos of the hidden objects within..... These are more photos, so you can see the objects randomly placed, millefiori canes, inside the 2" X 1 1 /2" X 1" PW. I think it is a Murano. It seems to have all the attributes.

    What do you think?

I have others tell me it's just a coincidence, but I disagree.

It is a beauty, and I agree Murano is probably the best attribution.

Thanks for the feedback, racer4four! I appreciate it. It is quite a unique piece if, indeed, it is Murano. I pretty sure it is. I have never seen another like it.
BTW, just asking, because of your CW name, are you into cars or racing? Sounds like you love Murano glass, like me.....

Westred I own only a few pieces of Murano but have owned lots of other art glass and I guess you learn along the way. My collection focus now is Japanese art glass and there is so much confusion between it and some Murano I have had to learn to ID and explain.
BTW - I am a motorcyclist and club raced under number 44 in younger days...that's the name reason. You can call me Karen :)

Thanks for the reply....Karen. You can call me Tom????. My dad stated Dragracing in the 50's and started again in the 80's in his late 40's. So, as you can see, I come from a "racing" family. I was more into Motocross and used to have a motocross bike. Never got too serious, I was 6' 4" 250 as Senior in HS. Makes it hard to compete with most motocross jockeys. LOL...
I also went thru the learning process, when it comes to what is what, in Art Glass. Fortunately, I used reference books, etc... And became a quick learner and got a good eye for finding the "real" Art Glass.
You say Japenese Glass imitates Italian. I always saw it more as Chinese Glass being the imitator and flooding the market. Hmmmmm. You will have to show me this imitation Murano from Japan. It would intereseting.
      Have a Great Sunday, Karen.....

No no no lol! It doesn't imitate Murano, it has it's own style. The uninformed think it's Murano......
I'm passionate about Japanese glass you may have noticed......;)

He, he, he..... IC????! You will have to excuse my brain????! I don't know if everyone has access to others profiles? But, if not, I have been on disability for over 12-years and, although most of it is physical, it takes a real toll on my mental health, honestly.
You really sound very passionate about Japanese Glass! Do you have examples. I will have to see if I can check out your Shoe & Tell photo stories.
Please forgive my misconception. It isn't the first time, LOL!
You seem like a delightful person. I have meet so many great people while collecting! I think this site has a lot of the same folk!
I also collect some pottery and other antique and vintage odds and ends. I will have to check out Japanese Art Glass. About all I know is people collect those old glass ball from Japan that, I believe, were used in old fishing nets?
