Beautiful little orange glass vases with a silver metal overlay of ships. It is marked Czechoslovakia dating from the 1920s or 30s (?). Any information will be appreciated. Just found these at an estate sale.

Look Czech, marked as such, but I don't know if we can hazard a guess as to maker other than saying one of 50-100 companies in Northern Bohemia around Novy Bor (Haida in German).

I am always looking for initials/monogrammes within these decorations but very few of this (good quality but middling sort) of ware seems to have been good enough to carry any such distinguishing mark. I don't mean this to sound quite as snooty as it could read - most of my collection and most of the glass production of this period other than the very best - is unmarked.

IanBrighton, Many thanks for all of the information! I know nothing about the glass but just buy things because I like them. I post here so others, like you, can educate me about the items. Thanks again!
